[Refund Policy]
[Before Arrival in Japan]
(1) If a Certificate of Eligibility is not issued: Under no circumstances will the application fee be refunded.
(2) If you decline admission after the Certificate of Eligibility has been issued: A refund will be issued, excluding the application fee and the admission fee. However,this applies only to those who return the Certificate of Eligibility and the Letter of Acceptance, and whose return has been confirmed.
(3) If a visa is denied by the local embassy or consulate: A refund will be issued, excluding the application fee and enrollment fee. However, this applies only to those for whom the visa denial has been confirmed.
[After Arrival in Japan]
(1) If a student withdraws or drops out for personal reasons within six months of arrival in Japan, the six months’ worth of student fees already paid will not be refunded.
(2) For students who withdraw from the program six months or more after enrollment, tuition,facility fees, and equipment fees for the uncompleted period starting from the date the withdrawal notice is submitted will be refunded on a semester basis (3 months). Please note that textbook fees and insurance premiums are not eligible for refund. Regarding health management fees, a refund will be issued if a health examination has not been conducted; if it has been conducted, the fee is not eligible for refund. The refund amount will be the total eligible for refund minus an administrative fee of 20,000 yen and the actual bank transfer fee. However, to ensure proper student record management, no refund will be issued if the following refund conditions are not met:
★Return to Home Country: Confirmation that the student returned to their home country within 30 days of withdrawal and that their “Student” status of residence has been revoked.
★Enrollment in Another Institution: Confirmation that there is no gap of one month or more between the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance and enrollment at the new institution.
★Change of Status of Residence: Confirmation of acquisition of a new status of residence or receipt of an acceptance notice from the Immigration Bureau.
① Administrative Fee: 20,000 yen. This amount shall be transferred to the designated bank account within 30 days of the date on which the refund application is accepted and the above conditions are confirmed.
(3) No refunds will be issued to students who have been expelled for violating laws, regulations, or school rules.
