CLASSSES

1) Comprehensive Japanese (Beginner 1–Beginner 2)
This course uses Minna no Nihongo: Beginner 1 and Minna no Nihongo: Beginner 2 to develop the foundational skills necessary for language activities (listening, reading, speaking, and writing). The course aims to enable students to understand expressions commonly used in daily life and topics relevant to their lives, to exchange opinions and information, and to explain and write about topics in areas relevant to their own needs

2) Grammar Application (Beginner-Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate 2)
This course focuses not only on grammar knowledge for exam preparation but also on developing the ability to apply grammar effectively. The goal is to enable students to select appropriate grammar and expressions based on the situation and purpose in social and professional contexts, thereby conveying their thoughts logically; and to enable them to express their opinions on abstract topics and participate in discussions with others.

3) Language Proficiency (Beginner 1–Advanced 2)
This course cultivates the ability to progressively understand and apply kanji, vocabulary, and expressions—ranging from those commonly used in daily life to those found in complex texts in social and academic fields.

4) Listening Comprehension (Beginner 1–Advanced 2)
This course is designed not only to prepare students for exams but also to cultivate the ability to “listen in chunks” and “listen by making inferences” while considering the meaning of the text. Through step-by-step practice ranging from simple, everyday topics to complex content in social and academic contexts, the course aims to help students acquire the listening skills necessary for studying at institutions of higher education.

5) Reading Comprehension (Intermediate-Beginner to Upper-Intermediate 2)
This course is designed not only to prepare students for exams but also to help them acquire the reading comprehension skills necessary for studying at institutions of higher education.
Students will engage in progressive reading practice, ranging from explanatory and descriptive texts on everyday life and familiar social topics to complex texts covering a wide range of fields, including society and academia.

6) Communication and Expression Practice (Beginner-Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate 2)
This course develops students’ ability to exchange opinions, provide explanations, give presentations, and engage in discussions on a wide range of topics—from everyday life to social and academic contexts—using appropriate expressions tailored to the listener and the situation. Through activities such as pair work, group discussions, and role-playing, the course aims to help students acquire the skills necessary for studying at institutions of higher education.

7) Writing Skills (Beginner 1–Advanced 2)
This course provides step-by-step practice ranging from short essays on familiar topics to short papers on a wide range of social and academic themes,
cultivating the ability to write logical and
coherent essays and reports.

8) Electives (Intermediate 2–Advanced 2)
Each semester, students can freely choose from elective courses in four groups: “Strategies for Overcoming Weaknesses,” “Japanese Culture,” “Social Participation,” and “College Preparation.”
