Exam Preparation to Japanese Culture: Elective Courses Only Available at Waseda Cultural Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elective courses are divided into four categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2460 Japanese Culture<br>Experiencing Japanese Culture \/ Traditional Japanese Folktales \/ Japanese Children\u2019s Songs and School Songs \/ Japanese Tourist Attractions and History<br>Students will learn about Japanese culture, its view of nature, and its historical background while actively experiencing it firsthand.<br>Based on the knowledge and experiences gained, students will compare their own culture with Japanese culture, identify similarities and differences, and present their thoughts<br>in Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2461 Community Engagement<br>Students will participate in collaborative activities within Taito Ward, such as cleanup efforts and volunteering at welfare facilities.<br>By engaging with the local community from a different perspective than usual, students will learn through experience what they can contribute as international students and as individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2462 Overcoming Weaknesses<br>\u2014 Listening Comprehension Training \/ Pronunciation Training \/ Improving Daily Conversation Skills<br>These are elective courses designed to help students overcome areas they find challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2463 Exam Preparation<br>\u2014 How to Write a Research Proposal \/ Interview Preparation \/ EJU Listening Practice \/ JLPT Listening Practice \/ Current Events<br>You can select the subjects necessary for your
